Hi,

Need help again. I just installed the ResMed software (version 03.14.017- I do have a Resmed S9 machine) and checking the "Summary Graphs" I have noticed that the 95% for the Leak rate is greater than 24L/min  most of the time. I have read somewhere that " at this point" (95% Leak rate>24 L/sec) "the ResMed engineers believe that your therapy can and probably is being compromised". Is this a true statement? I was until now (past 2 months) on a CPAP recommended (by Dr. staff) pressure of 16cmH2O. For the past two day I switch the machine settings from "CPAP" to "Autoset". I was surprised to see that my Leak rate dropped a lot but my AHI and AI increase by 2-3 times higher than before. This lead me to the conclusion that I have to keep the machine on CPAP setting with the pressure that was recommended but I have to work on the leaks.  It is true that the Median for the Leak rate is no grater than 14, most of the time being at 8 or bellow but still...

However, right now I have a Mirage Swift II pillow mask by ResMed. It was recommended to me by the CPAP technician due to the fact that I have a mustache and beard. Seams like it's not working properly. Can somebody recommend me a better mask for my particularly case (mustache and thick beard)?

Thank you.

If this helps here is a summary of 18 days from my machine's data.
