Question: are all new ResMed masks categorized as either part of the "LT" line or the "FX" line, or are there other lines of mask products that ResMed makes?  Also, is FX or LT better or worse than one another, or just different and what are those differences at a high level?

Mirage/Quattro are still a series.

I always thought that Lt was the ladies version. Just looked over at mask cubbard and saw the Activa LT as I was writing. Now I tbelieve that my thinking may be wrong.

yeah, that's definitely not the distinction.  not sure what it is.  but pretty certain it's not ladies vs. men
The Swift Lt was a ladies version. Sorry Mike I have limited the mask I use in the clinic.  This is gonna sound weird but I have a  10 minute education and questions speech that I give every person prior to the study. During this time I evaluate for mouth breathing, anxiety(phobias), head, face and facial feature size. By the end I have 2 masks picked out. Rarely does one of them not work. Rarer yet do they come back for a different mask.

To me, this is a sign that you're a real pro. In other words, you can tell, just tell, which mask is  most likely to work best for each person. Reason? You've taken in so much information and data points from years of experience. In short, you don't have to "practice" on your patients!

All I have been able to find is that the FX series is less obtrusive. I do not believe their is any visula blocking of any sort on these masks.

TY Zollistar!

I sure wish I could be evaluated by you!!!!!

Ditto Ginny. I keep telling Mike that if he opens a sleepguide clinic I will come work for him.
