Thanks to this wonderful forum (thanks Mike! thanks Mary!), I learned about cpaplibrary.com and have borrowed a FitLife Full Face Mask for a one week trial. (Here's the link: http://www.cpaplibrary.com/mask-trials)
Last night was my first night trying the FitLife FFM..
I slept well, including...dreaming. (I'm a side-sleeper and had no trouble sleeping on my side using the mask -- no leaking either, so far as I could tell since I don't have a data capable machine.)
One problem/issue: I woke with bags under my eyes. Pretty big ones which, sigh, offend vanity. And, yes, mask markings. The bags and markings began to recede and were not as pronounced within about three hours, however.
I don't recall what size mask I borrowed (and the mask doesn't indicate its size). I believe, however, that I borrowed the small size. There are only two sizes; after reading reviews on capap.com, I suspect that it might be wise to try the other, larger size.
Questions: Have others used the FitLife FFM with good success? Does anyone have adjustment-to-the-mask advice? Also, are undereye bags (and mask marks) part of the experience? (If so, and if I sleep better with this mask, I'll live with both.)
Advice, comments, suggestions -- all and any -- will be welcomed.
Thank you!
PS: I use a variety of masks: nasal pillows (two styles), nasal mask, a SleepWeaver mask and alternate among them. The nasal mask, which I like best, irritates my skin too much to use a nightly basis. (I always have to allow my skin to heal for about five to ten days.)
I'm thinking of trying one of the gel-style nasals in hope that the irritation will be far less. Anyone have any comments about the gel-style nasal mask?
