Facemask
When I wear my full face mask with my bipap machine I wake in the morning with a red sort of rash where the mask sits on my face. Any help?

Sounds like you're having a skin reaction to the material in the mask. You could try a light application of hydrocortisone cream before bed and in the morning if you still get the rash.
If worse comes to worse, you may need to try a mask made of a different material.
What mask are you using and how long have you been using it?

Hello Russell,
My skin is sensitive to the material that the masks are constructed with so I can't wear the masks directly against my skin and so I wear a liner between the mask and my face. Here are 2 solutions you might investigate: www.remzzz.com and www.padacheek.com.

I have been using this style mask for about 4 years with the same results. Red blotchy skin over the bridge of my nose and down both sides.

Something like Renee suggested may be your best bet if you want to stick with that mask. RemZzzs or something from pad-a-cheek.

In years past, I had tons of problems with red impressions on my face from wearing a CPAP mask. Mine were caused by the pressure of the mask on my nose and face. For several years, I used tape on the sensitive areas to eliminate this problem. I have been using RoEzit as described below. No more problems! I buy it for $5.50 per tube............ DESCRIPTION:
A non-petroleum based skin moisturizer with aloe vera, emu oil and Vitamins A and E. Used to help prevent and eliminate irritation, cracking and nasal dryness associated with oxygen and CPAP therapy.

I bought it from Philly Pharmacy for $5.50 per tube. If you google it, you can find lots of places for $6.95 per tube.
