How often should the part of the mask that connects with the nose be replaced?

For instance the Resmed Swift FX is the mask I am using.  Does the nose piece

wear out or become contaminated?

Thanks  H. Hampton

I'm sorry you did not get a reply to your question (in case you do visit the site again).  My reply will at least bump your question to the top of the line again.  I'm sorry I do not use a nasal mask.  I'm assuming you are referring to the nasal pillow part of the mask.  I believe I have read that though with cleaning they do not get contaminated they do lose their shape.  I think your DME will allow you two sets a month.

Come on you folks with the Swift FX or similar mask , let's see if it's not too late to help this man.

Thanks, Mary Z.

Just joined and have been using Swift FX about 2 weeks. I like the softness of the nasal pillows. I have read that they get too soft, but I am not sure how long it take for that to happen. They are easy to clean. I do not like that the air tube does not attach to the mask. It pulls down on the nasal pillows.
