Exciting Manhattan A.W.A.K.E. Meeting Wednesday, February 1

I am very excited to announce our speaker for the upcoming Manhattan
A.W.A.K.E. meeting: Dr. Jordan Stern, an innovator with respect to his
comprehensive approach to Sleep Apnea treatment, a proponent of Home
Sleep Apnea Testing, and the Founder and Medical Director of the
BLUESLEEP® comprehensive snoring and sleep apnea center. A board certified Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon, he has over 20 years clinical
experience in the medical and surgical treatment of upper airway
diseases and sleep disorders. He has been recognized as one of
America’s Top Doctors by the NY Times Magazine every year since 2007.
Based on his extensive experience in treating sleep disorders he has
been actively involved in evaluating, testing and developing new
“patient friendly” home sleep testing devices as well as innovative
treatments for sleep apnea and other sleep disorders. He is the
co-author of “Dropping Acid. The Reflux Diet Cookbook and Cure”, and
producer of “Music for Dreams”, Vols. 1 and 2 created to help patients
with sleep onset insomnia.

If you can only make one A.W.A.K.E. group meeting, I'd highly
recommend this one.  Details below and on www.ManhattanAWAKE.org:

some positive feedback from a member of Manhattan A.W.A.K.E. -- you're very welcome!

Mike! What a home-run to get Dr. Stern. Thank you!

please help me get the word out.  I want Dr. Stern to see how active/ large the Manhattan AWAKE group can be.

Question - how close is the address to the Port Authority bus terminal? That's the way I'd come into the city from Jersey. Thanks.

It's actually very close to the Port Authority.  What I'd do is walk over a block to 7th Avenue from 8th Ave and 42d St which is where the bus terminal is, and take the 7th Ave subway line (the 1 train) downtown a couple of stops to 28th street.  the meeting is at 26th street off 7th avenue.  alternatively, if you can take the train in from NJ to Penn Station, it's a 10 minute walk from Penn Station.
