Susan McCord responded to the video version of this, but i think her comment is more likely to be seen by Dr. Park if put on the discussion board, so here goes it:

"Dr. Park--first let me say how much it means to us that you take so much time and interest working with It's an unbelievable confidence-builder, certainly for me anyway. I've signed up for my second teleconference and am looking forward to it!

I just posted an SG comment re: the extreme nasal and sinus difficulty I had initially on CPAP with just totally intense dryness. I've now resolved that issue with nightly, high # humidification. However, my take on what happened to me (now) is that it was because of several cardiac medications I take which are extremely drying to my body in general. What ideas do you have re: the impact of these types of strong medications with regard to nasal/sinus sensitivity to CPAP? I haven't heard anyone talking about this except myself, and I'm no expert. I DO however, have a great deal of experience with my own body in trying to handle nearly devastating drying effects to my own body that was, and is clearly related to Rx heart meds I take daily. I wrote more detail on my SG comment today, so I won't go into the whole thing here. I'm just wondering what your take is on Rx chemicals contributing to unbearable dryness after initiation to CPAP. Thanks for your consideration.

Susan McCord"
Great video Dr. park.
I wish more Doc would explain this to patients. Night after night I hear the deviated septum story..*sigh*
