Judy, very informative articles.  I was particulaly impressed with the research done with children (and how much needs to be done with children is scary)  and pregnant women.  I realized research was ongoing with the advent of new machines that measure more parameters such as central apnea, and snore index.  This is truly exciting and I hope researchers in the US are just as aggressive in their search for better ways to control OSA.

Two of the things that stood out to me, and stand out so often in so many research articles, is how much successful therapy relies on support and advice from our professionals and yet that is the weakest leak in our system, and evidently around the world.

The other was just of interest, it sounds like despite Dr Sullivan pretty much developing the idea and use of CPAP, I got the impression Respironics came out w/a CPAP before Sullivan and Ferrell formed Resmed and began production of CPAPs on a large scale. I wonder if THAT was what the law suit Resmed filed against Respironics was all about.
