Heard from someone that CPAP was making her nose run. Any ideas how that could be, and what the fix might be?

When I first started my nose ran constantly. It took several months for it to stop. I don't know what people thought, and didn't really care as I knew what was causing it -- as JNK stated it was getting used to therapy.
I developed substantial nasal congestion issues beginning the morning after my first night with new CPAP. I do have seasonal allergy issues this time of the year, but this seems kind of coincidental. I use non-heated humidification and a nasal pillow mask. My wife tells me I don't open my mouth during the night. I'm going to try without humidification for a few nights to see if that helps.
yeah what he said.
I found I do better with cool humidity

If the person is just starting out, that may be part of the adjustment that goes away on its own.

For some, turning humidity up helps. For others, turning humidity down helps. Whichever is more soothing, less irritating.

The person should be sure there is no mouth leak if the person is using a nasal type of mask.
In the summer months, when humidity is at the highest, I don't use my humidifier at all.
so you just set your Respironics humidifier setting to "0", right?
