I have been using the resperionics gel mask, then tried the comfortgel mask, in a smaller size. Both are really bothersom.

I have a followup appt with the dr tomorrow and am going to request a different mask. Was wondering if anyone had tried the cloth face mask and what you thought of it.

It just doesn't look like it will be cost effective, in that it won't be able to last very long.

it's called the DreamWeaver. haven't heard of anyone having any success with it, so seems like a long shot. maybe try the new comfort gel mask from respironics released last week: new comfort gel mask
Are you using a full face mask?
No, would that be better?
Thats the one I am using.

unless you got your mask in the last week or two, it can't be the one you're using. they just released this new mask within the last couple of weeks.

got it about 3 weeks ago at the drs office. I just looked at the packaging and it says comfortgel. I looked at a picture of the one you are referring and they look the same.

I hate that little silicon flap that goes over the gel. That is EXTREMELY irritating to me.
have you tried the Respironics Fit Life full face mask -- apparently they're having a lot of success with it even though it looks hideous.

I came home with the resperonics, and see the problem is, I live about 2 hours away from this drs office and he handles his supplies. I called and they sent me another one, and was told that they couldn't swap out anymore for me. I then, asked for a written Rx so I could get some help closer to home, and then they said, they would work with me. Its just been an ordeal from many aspects. HA HA(trying to laugh about it). I am going to take the name of that mask with me tomorrow and check into that one.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I like the FitLife Total Face Mask. It does look intimidating, but I can get zero leaks with a few modifications. I have a small, really need a medium, but they only come large and small so far. I tie the top strap that goes on top of your head to the place where the back straps cross. Then I put a litttle strap from one side to the other under my chin to keep it from riding up in my mouth, 0.0 leaks this way and ok on comfort.
