from Victoria:
"Well, the funny thing that happened this weekend was what to do with my dog when I went to visit my father for the weekend. My father had a small play pen which he used when his godson came to visit or any other baby. He pulled out the play pen and set it up for me along side of my bed. Blackie walked around and scratched for a bit, then he gave in and went to sleep.
I arranged my extra pillows in a way for Blackie to climb into my closet at my mother's house so that he could hide and go to sleep. I also sleep in a very high bed so that he couldn't jump onto it, but last night I picked him up because he came out of the closet and wanted up on the bed. I did have the mask on at that time and he shaking like crazy, but I think he knows that it's me under that mask because he got closer to my face. I always take him outside before I go to sleep and I think that's why he was trying to get my attention.
I'll probably clean out my cluttered closet and make him a safe haven for bedtime. Also thought about getting a play pen at a garage sale and using that for night time.
I went to see my doctor last Friday and he printed out the report. He told me that I need to start using it more because the insurance company frowns on 70% of usage. I didn't use it for 9 days of the month. I know 2 of the days in a row I was camping with no electricity. I have another camping event coming up next weekend (pirate festival at Vallejo, CA) and I'm trying to figure a way how to take my cpap machine (rem-star-pro m series with humidifier) with me. I have seen the description of the DC cables that I could use with a 12 VDC free standing battery. Have you ever been somewhere were there is no power and you need to use your machine?
Anyhow, my doctor gave me some more pro vigil to help me get through the day. He also increased the pressure from 6 to 8. I better get ready for work. Talk to you later."
