I have severe sleep apnea as diagnosed by 2 sleep studies my latest is a bipap with auto set at 12-19 with 3 diff.
I went to NEW doc sleep study/pulmon. and he told me to stop using the bipap, for your lungs are designed for a negative pressure, and if you use it your heart will work harder, I should just use oxygen at night?
I have never heard of this folks, is there any validity to this?
I hold no one to your opinions legally just have to ask the ones that know
please help, all I have seen from this new bipap since easter everynight worn 9 hours with 2l O2, is it lowered my BP by 30 points, and I am still fatigued, still short of breath, still have leg pitted edema.
What am i to do here?

Robert, I don't have answers for you but I will say that you seem to have made all the right efforts to get resolution. It seems trite but I mean it warmly: you deserve better & I hope you get this fixed soon. $120,000 has been forked over on your behalf for tests, studies & opinions, yet you still have the problems while those who couldn't help you have moved on to the next revenue source. My wife is on a similar treadmill. Lots of tests & several physicians throwing up their hands in puzzlement, & don't forget to leave your copay at the checkout desk. We all deserve better, Robert, but today you deserve it more. Godspeed, buddy.

Well, how did you FEEL this morning? How are you FEELING NOW? Your AI is good. Your HI "might" not be all that important
same as each day as fatigued as when I went to bed, SOB as when went to bed and pitted edema same as when going to bed ONLY thing I saw since EASTER when I started Bipap is BP came down to 106/60 give or take, that is still using bp med and water pill

Isn't 106/60 a bit low?? I don't know all that much about BP but mine always tended to run low and yours sounds like my "normal". Or what used to be my normal. Its tending to run more "really normal" the last couple of years.
