at the risk of drawing broad generalizations, i wanted to get a discussion underway about which demographic of people would be most receptive to the message to do something about their OSA:
seniors? might be too set in their ways; have old-school doctors who aren't up on the latest developments in OSA research/ awareness; unwilling or unable to do independent research on the net, come to their own conclusions and take action without a doctor's say-so
young adults? might think OSA is a disorder for older people, not something to be concerned about at their age
adult men? resistant to taking care of themselves, being proactive -- might be sign of weakness
adult women? might think OSA is a disorder that is mostly for men
ugh--- now that i've offended everyone on Earth, let's open this up to all you guys -- what do you think?
