... is our best customer:

from Richard M. : "Just wanted to let you know, I spoke with the respiratory therapist at the local medical supply place and discussed the financial side of owning that particular machine which she highly recommended as well. It turns out I will be able to afford it since my insurance deductible has been met this year. I know I looked pretty ignorant about all this and am somewhat embarrassed by my lack of knowledge of the new machines, etc. I have had my ResMed S7 for 7 yrs now and it has been a wonderful machine. I have only dealt with new masks, hoses, etc. and never bothered to keep current with the newer machines, data capability and so forth. Thanks for every one's help in pointing me in the right direction. I will let you know how it goes after I have used it a while."

"I called resmed, got the name of dme's in my area that order the autoset. Called the dme's and found out which doctors order the autoset for full time use. Have my appointment set with one of those dr's and cancelled my original sleep study.

Seems that the primary sleep lab in my area only writes for respironics CPAP units. If they can't decide on a setting they on rare occasions write a script for one month of apap use to acquire data for your cpap script. ....Very sad system. Learned much more after about 40 hours of research. ...."
What an effecient and smart way to set this up.
Thanks, Judy, for posting this way of dealing with DME's and Doctors.

Richard M. I'm glad everything went well and hope your work continues to pay off.
some sleep labs are "paid off" by the manufacturers. wined and dined, trips to Disney World, etc.
