I found out if I put my CPAP mask on before turning on the machine...After the mask is on
then I turn machine on and it seals right off the bat..I.m fairly new with
"Sleep Apnea"
This might help other newbies...

Thanks..I'm also a newbie to BiPap and have trouble getting a good seal..I have tried the nasal/full mask and pillows mask none seem to work right for me..I also wonder why it took til I'm 61 to diagnose what is wrong with me..I have obstructive and central sleep apnea..My doctor said it is a possible fatal apnea...Any advice would be greatly appreciated..I have searched for apnea support groups and have had no luck..
JenDB, I use a Full Face Mask and the two things that helped me get rid of leaks were Mask Liners and lifting the hose above my head (Hose Lift). I have found you need to try lots of different things until you get something that works.
Jen, you can google Pad-A-Cheek, RemZzzs, and Quietus for liners.
Hi, my name is Becky!
RemZzzs does have billing codes for Medicare and other private insurances. I can provide a complimentary sample to you, if you email me your mask name brand/model and your mask cushion size to: social@remzzzs.com! I can even get samples to your medical equipment company and I can call them and work with them to get this figured out for you! :O)
I hope that you have a GREAT day!

Mary, thanks..my provider is checking to see if it would be worth it for the company to carry this item and if my medi-medi ins. will cover them..Otherwise I must pay 24.99 for a box of 30..I live on 850.00 per month so money is real tight..Same as most of us..Thanks and i will check out the 2 I didn't find..

Someone once suggested- I think it was on the UK site- if anyone saw the post and knows the particulars better, please post. The suggestion was to buy some cotton batting like used in quilting ( or I'm sure if you browse the fabric store you can find something) and sew it between two liners (like the thin RemZzzs liners). It makes a thicker liner with more substance and resiliency.
I also put on the mask before I turn on the machine. To go to the bathroom I turn off the machine and disconnect the hose from the mask.
