I don't like wearing chin straps.
I really like my Mirage Micro nasal mask because:
I switched to nasal pillow style at the recommendation of a RT. I rather like this style but, again, have to use a chin strap (as I have to with the Mirage Micro). My problems with the two nasal pillow masks are similar:
Any advice from been-there, done-that veterans? I'm placing my order this week. I thought about trying the Liberty FFM but I thought I'd ask my Forum buddies for advice first.
Thanks!
PS: I'm always willing to experiment.
PPS: I've tried two chin straps and actually liked the Ultimate Chin strap very much. The only problem: I wake frequently and want a sip of water; the Ultimate is a problem because the mask covers the mouth so completely. Still, I do recommend it to others and you without risk: it's returnable for a full refund within 30 days.

Wear a chinstrap and put a gallon of water by the bed. Its hard to hold your breath and drink at the same time so take the mask off. The reason you are dry is from the CPAP. If you do not have the humidifier you should get one. Or run one all night next to your bed.
