I just got my Res Med software so I can see what my CPAP numbers have been for the last few weeks. I am uploading so I can get feedback on what is happening. I think I am doing well except for a few nights when I had some panic attack issues and couldn't wear my mask. But since I am new, I am not sure.

I can't seem to get a detailed graph of the entire couple of weeks. I don't know how to use the software yet. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

To get the Detailed Graphs for the entire couple of weeks when you click on Download and that box comes up, to the right is Select Data, click on that. You have the option of All Available Data or Selected Data. Choose Selected Data. Choose Selected Detailed Data Sessions. Click on the Down arrow in the Most Recent Detailed Session(s). Choose All (the options are from "first, 2, 5, 7, 14, 21, All), click on All. Click on Include High Rate Data Such As Flow (If Available). Click on Okay. Click on Start Download.

Now, I've not had access to an S8 II so I don't know their limitations on how much detailed data they can hold between downloads. But once you download and save the detailed data that detailed data will remain in the software and you can continue to add to it.
Your data looks pretty good. Did you ever talk to your dr. about your pressure settings?
I have an appt with my doc this week, and I am going to bring in my data. I am not knowledgeable in this area at all but it would seem to me that if I have an autoset machine, it would show a range of numbers within the low and high set numbers. Not just the top number each night. So I will ask the question.

Judy, you are a DEAR!!! I will do what you suggested to look at the detailed graphs. Wow, that is really cool software, even if it IS for a PC. Smiles

I'm baaaack! 'Puter guru gets my 'puter up and running again and then doggone if ole Momma Nature didn't send severe thunderstorms w/tornado warnings into our area.

Anyway, your Resmed isn't reporting the top number each night. It is reporting the pressure AT OR BELOW which you spent 95% of the night. In the software statistics you should see the Median pressure, the 95th percentile pressure and the highest pressure you experienced that night.
Welcome back Judy! If my ResMed it isn't reporting the top number what do I do? If my autoset is set at 6 and 8 won't 8 always be the top number since it won't go above that? Duh, I am not so good with technical stuff. Thanks for your help.

It won't go to 8 cms pressure unless it needs to. That's a really narrow pressure range 6 cms to 8 cms. Nothing wrong w/that, I didn't mean that it is, just that we usually seem more of like a 4 cms spread.
Duh. I was so excited to be back online at a decent speed I wasn't thinking ..... the software will also, on the statistics page list a calculated pressure range, I think. Maybe that is just an auto VPAP thingie, but I don't think so, I think the AutoSet will also do that in ResScan.

I notice, too, that you are hitting your top pressure of 8 cms every night. I take that to mean that maybe your pressure range is a bit too low. Maybe start your pressure range at 7 or even 8 cms and the top of the range at 11 or even 12?
Yeah Judy, that is what I was thinking as well. I will be visiting with my doctor with all the information in hand. I will let you know what her thoughts are regarding the pressure setting spread. Once again, thanks for your time.
