What is the "holistic" angle to sleep apnea surgery, Dr Park?

Forgive me, please don't misunderstand, but my first reaction was a vision of surgery under hypnosis!!! It just popped unbidden into my beady little brain.

Judy,

I was trying to come up with a description of surgery that incorporates not only the whole person (body and mind), but also to better describe the entire (whole) airway (nose, palate, and tongue), as well as incorporating various non-surgical options before considering surgery.

I realize that the word holistic has various meanings, including alternative or anti-Western medicine approaches. But I looked up the original definition for holistic and wholistic, and discovered that holistic is a better term that describes what I'm talking about. I'll go into much more detail in my talk.

Steve

Ah, thank you, Dr Park. Actually your "brief" description works very well. A total approach. A THOROUGH approach! Fortunately for me, I don't have any thing that needs surgical correction! Altho I have been told I have little to no "padding" left in the jaw joints I don't have any problems w/jaw pain, etc. knock!, Knock!, KNOCK!
