I attended the meeting and as usual I learned a thing or two . The resmed rep explained that I could adjust exhilation pressure on the s8 etite machine I presently use.Their is a user menu I can acess without fear of reprograming the main settings.(Did not know that).The Fisher rep saw marks on my face and suggested I try a 3 generation newer mask ,which he just happened to have .So thankyou Sharon and Barbera for bringing awake out on the island.
++ Note Southside hospital is opening a sleep center and will be having an awake meeting november 20 at 10 am++

That was great observation Chris by the Fisher rep. Which mask did he recommend and hope it helps?

Hi Kath,
The new mask has leak issues, their is a smaller cushon which may help. overall the performa is quite comfortable.They said pressures over 10 are difficult for full face masks....I am at 12 .What pressure are you ? Good sleep ,Chris

Aw what a shame about the mask leaks Chris, but you might be able to fix them with the smaller cushion. It would be good if you could, seeing as the mask itself is more comfy. Have you tried adjusting the straps when running at the full pressure. Of all the full face masks, I've found Fisher Paykel better for me due to them going over under the chin. My face is just not the right shape for full face masks, but my nose can't cope with nasal :( Hope you can get those leaks sorted. Good luck....

Full pressure readjusting straps helped some.I know that braces for arms and legs are custom made is their anyone who makes custom masks?

Would have to hit lottery to go there .If I do I will bring you to get one too .....but do not hold your breath I dont play it that often.
