Accurate Biomed specializes in CPAP Repair

Accurate Biomed's state of the art repair facility insures operational integrity of your cpap devices

In keeping with our dedication to the home medical equipment industry we offer cpap repair services that are unlike any other in the nation. All cpaps we repair are put through a thorough testing regimen which includes all pressure checks and ramping abilities. This testing utilizes equipment that analyzes real time performance of the unit and alerts our technical staff to any problems over an extended time line. By testing in this fashion we eliminate the possibility of intermittent failure and increase the reliability of the repair.

Our electronics department then checks the integrity of all printed circuit boards using a proprietary testing station developed in house by Accurate Biomed Services. This testing assures the finished product will meet or exceed manufacturer specifications, and deliver reliable service for years to come.

All cpaps are repaired by our technicians to the same exacting standards used by the original manufacturer, our repaired cpap devices deliver quiet operation and steady output. We test every cpap on our in house pressure testing equipment calibrated to NIST standards. After we conclude that the cpap is ready for patient use we will warranty that repair for a period of one year regardless of the cause of failure should one occur.

If you are an individual needing service of your cpap, please contact us and we will gladly make arrangements to have your cpap serviced.

"I just now got my c-pap machine back.  The UPS guys just now left.  Thanks so much!  I've still got a few hours till bedtime, but I'm anxious to hurry up and go to bed, now!  Now, I don't have to wonder if I'm going to sleep all night and wake up, or totally stop breathing in my sleep and not wake up at all!  With my c-pap, I know I will have a wonderful, sound sleep...and wake up refreshed!!  YEA!!!

Thanks, again!

Cindy H :)"
Accurate Biomed is an oxymoron.
Hello all,

My name is Ian McCullough and I am the President of Accurate Biomed Services Inc. Our company is over ten years old and has extensive experience in Xpap repair. I would like to offer our services as well as expertise to all the members here on the forum. Many times HME or DME providers will not help a person with a patient owned piece of equipment get repairs. We are very willing and able to assist if needed. If we can answer any questions please feel free to email me (my email is in my profile) and we'll do our best to get you answer. We can also be contacted at 800-376-5660 should you have an immediate need for service or advice.
i have several questions to ask
1 which cpap machie is the most reliable
2 which are the easiest and hardest to work on
3 what is the most like part to fail that is mtbf
99,

A cpap has two major parts: a PC board and a blower. We are the largest Respironics repair center in the nation which would incline me to say Respironics would be our machine of choice. Resmed is built in Australia and they are somewhat harder to get serviced here in the states.

In order for me to answer responsibly would require me to now your specific diagnosis.I can say this however. The blower is a mechanical part that is subject to physical motion, and therefore would be the most likely to fail over a period of time. The PC board is somewhat inert and would be subject to excessive moisture or power deviations in order for it to be subject to a catastrophic failure.

We have the ability to work on both manufacturers units (having both the technical skills and calibration software) so ease of repair would be a toss up for us.

I hope this explains your questions. If I am clear as mud please fire back to me.
No, and I don't want to sound dismissive, but it sounds dangerous to use on a piece of medical equipment.
i understand that this is how PC boards are manufactured in a simular fashon by the big makers these days
I am only familiar with etching in the manufacture of these components whereby two layers go through separate fab processes. Are you referring to the process of leveling the PCB surface with hot air?
