you  go to the doctors because you are not right or well

the doctor orders some tests including tests on your thyroid and the results came back normal

and yet you are still not well

the tests allow for variation to a very wide degree and what is normal for you is not normal for me

the tests do not test for every thyroid problem and that is where the rub is year in year out

and yet it was the thyroid all along

because of misdiagnosis the problem goes on for years and years and because of that other problems appear like sleep apnea again very serious and again very often misdiagnosed, other problems compound your problems, it is problem upon problem

this is what i believe happened to me i have just perchased a book call the thyroid solutution which exhplains a lot of things

the item on the dry mouth problem i now believe is the same problem although in fairness it did mention diffrent parts of the body
I have the same issue. I have had underactive thyroid for years and years. My doctor says none of my symptoms are realated to my thyroid but I have a list off a website the AMA put up about thyroid diseases and I have almost all the symptoms for Hoshimoto Disease. I have: dry scaly skin, weight issues, lack of libido, lack of energy, insomnia, joint pain, hair falling out, dry mouth and throat, trouble swallowing headaches, muscle aches and the that is just to name a few. I showed him the list. He said I need to see a psychiatrist. It is all in my head. I am trying to find a new doctor but with no insurance it is hard.

Just know you are not the only one!!
the more i think about it the more convinced i am that the thyroid is the cheif cause of sleep apnea even of of centrals sleep apnea and one perpetuate the other, and at least two clear years treatment to be sure that it is gone is required

the muzzy head, wide neck, constapation, bad breath, oh i almost forgot energy to name a few
