Can people who have lost their teeth for whatever reason utilize a dental/oral appliance?  If so, who are the manufacturers?

I'm told that SomnoMed can do this.
Somnomed does have an edentulous appliance. The problem is stability especially of the appliance on the lower jaw. At times, the device can be stabilized with dental implants.
Okay this may seem like a stupid question but here goes.

Say if one had dentures, would the dentures be enough for a dental appliance to keep it in place?
