Looks interesting -- would like someone that actually tries to report on it.
Yep, our Respironics Rep had one at our last apnea support group meeting. The first thing all of us asked about was drying our eyes out. He said it had been thoroughly tested in hospital and dry eyes hadn't been a problem. Someone else said we sleep w/our eyes closed. I still remain skeptical about it being too drying to our eyes. On the other hand, I can't imagine it wouldn't be a COLOSSAL mistake for Philipps to promote such a mask if it was a risk to our eyes. These companies spend a lot of money on research and development. Still ... I remain somewhat skeptical ....
The thought just occurred to me!!! *wicked grin* Can't you just imagine! Too much humidity and the mask fogging up?? *another wicked grin*
Hey! I'm not picking on Respironics! My favorite mask is the Respironics Simplicity simple nasal cushion. Altho I've been using the Resmed Swift LT for Her lately just for a change of pace.
