I feel that as the forum grows, friendships established, and bonds made -- we share more than just sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is our common thread for each of us, or we wouldn't be on a sleep apnea forum -- but true friendships develop and flourish within these forums.

Some of you may already be aware that I have five grown children. My oldest son is 33 down to my youngest daughter that is 24.

Three of my children decided to expand their families and announced within a few days of each other that new arrivals would be arriving this summer.

Last night Zachary Tyler was born at 3:57 a.m. weighing in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches long. Son called me right as I was going to sleep and like a good granny I put in my appearance at the hospital. His due date was June 14, 2009.

My daughter was scheduled for a c-section at 12:00 today. I get a phone call at approximately 2:00 a.m. telling me that she is on her way to the hospital (about 35 miles away) as she is in labor. I get a call a couple of hours later that she has been admitted and c-section will take place earlier than that. I was able to make it to Meadow Danielle's birth at 7:00 a.m. She weighed a healthy 8 pounds 12 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long.

Both babies are doing great -- but I really hope that grandbaby #3 decides to wait for awhile longer (due end of June).

Mazel Tov on the double blessing!
That is unbelievable. If i read this right, you had two of your daughters give birth early this morning?! What an incredible coincidence. Congratulations on this miraculous day for you and your family. Delighted to hear it all went so well.
Congratulations on your new additions! Having grandbabies is one of the best experiences around. It is just like everyone says, you love them like your own children but you get to hand them back to Mom and Dad when they start fussing. :>D ENJOY!
Congratulations! I'm looking forward to the grandma part of life. Hope my girls come through for me.
Congrats!
Yep, my younger son had their baby first. Followed by my daughter having hers.

Daughter was really nervous yesterday as she was so not looking forward to her scheduled c-section and had a case of the nerves. She had her doctor's appointment in the afternoon and he indicated everything looked good and on schedule. She was acting kind of weird when she got home from the appointment and I asked if she was okay and she said it was a case of nerves. When she went home, I didn't worry since she had just come from the doctor's appointment.

Son called me just as I was falling asleep and said that they had admitted Angie and since he was a basketcase I offered to go to the hospital for moral support. I got there about 1:00 a.m. Around 2:00 a.m. my daughter called and said she was on her way to the hospital (since we felt she needed her rest, we hadn't called to tell her about Angie) and her contractions were 3 minutes apart.

Ended up with 2 babies this morning about 3 hours apart. How is that for a concidence? Both babies are doing fine at the present time.
congrats carol, good luck with both of them!
