Excellent Resmed Video On Sleep Disordered Breathing (sleep apnea)

This is the best video explanation of sleep disordered breathing (sleep apnea) I've seen. It shows both normal breathing and heart rate during sleep as well as during an "event".

The last link worked for me, and I agree this is an outstanding presentation! I just wish the would have also included Central Apneas! When people get diagnosed with OSA they should be made to watch this presentation, so they can understand what they have!. Thanks for posting the links!
White Beard, have you come across any great video or summary of central apnea?

No Mike I haven't I sure wish they would make something like this for Central and Complex Sleep Apnea! But I suppose it would be difficult because of the many varied causes for Central Apneas, I know the central apneas I have could be caused by several different things, I suffer from Chronic Pain and I am on Pain Meds 24/7 so that could be the cause, I also have had a cervical spine injury and that could also be a contributing factor, plus I have some other neurological problems that I haven't gotten a confirmed diagnoses for yet, I was being treated for Parkinsons, but a group of specialists have now ruled that out, and weaned me off those meds, several docs have said possible MS but nothing confirmed yet. And could that also be causing the Centrals?? Anyway I have read allot of stuff on Central Apneas but it all seems to be pretty much the same, and isn't that helpful!
Thanks, WhiteBeard. I deleted the previous two links then and left just the "good" one.
here's a link directly to the video without the intermediate step of going to another page first: http://www.resmed.com/us/multimedia/understanding-sdb-english-640x3...
Bless your heart! Thank you, Mike. That's much better!! Resmed has changed the design of their pages somewhat and the old bookmark wasn't working so I had to go thru several pages to find the link to it. "Puters and I have never really been on the friendliest of terms. Even now after all these years.
