Heart problem?
I guess I'm still digesting everything my sleep dr told me. Some pitting
on my right ankle, and issues with right side of my heart. Having another
sleep study on the 28th to get an ASV machine. WOW!! I am sleeping a lot
better since I got the nasal pillows, and I have used the machine 100%
of the time. What am I in for?

You are in for a machine that will do you a world of good. That's great you're using the machine all of the time. We have recently had a discussion about getting used to the ASV. I don't use one, but it's a different animal from what we're used to seeing. I am seeing them prescribed more and more often for complex and central apnea and they may have uses I don't know about. ASV users?

Hi Nanvcy, I have been on cpap for 5 years but have had sleep apnea for many years.
Have recently been diagnosed with heart problems too. I have MITRAL STENOSIS, what is your Heart condition ?

Haven't had any tests yet. Dr told me he heard "something" on the right side of my heart. I think they are regulating my sleep apnea first, then check out the heart thing. I'm so lucky my sleep apnea was found, I'm just glad to have it being treated.
