I am just another member like yourself.

I have had the electrical stimulation treatments on my back due to back pain and injury. I personally would not want that kind of treatment on my throat area since it would probably affect the breathing rate. When I had it done it was not a pleasant sensation and I would be afraid in the throat area it would cause spasms that would close the airway.

Just my opinion.

An interesting idea though.

Hi Jonathon,

Have you thought about getting the septum fixed? I had a deviated septum that was fixed in 1990. I do breathe better -- but honestly if I knew how the surgery was going to go I would have passed on it since apparently mine was from a childhood injury and I didn't remember what it was like to breathe through both sides of my nose.

Why do you think you need a higher pressure? How much leakage from your mask are you having?

Welcome to the forum!!

Which Remstar are you using?

Which mask by Resprionics are you using?

What is your pressure? How long have you been on treatment?

Looking forward to your input on the forum.
