My Interest in Sleep Apnea
I have Sleep Apnea
Treatment Being Used, if any
CPAP
If Machine Being Used, What Type? (e.g., Respironics M Series with A-Flex Auto-Adjusting CPAP)
nasal type
If Mask Being Used, What Type? (e.g., ResMed Activa Nasal Mask)
ResMed nasal pillows system

I am asking why it is bad to sleep on your back??? it seems to be my favorite place for me since I have been on my machine.

i have been trying to get used to this stupid machine for a couple of years already. My family convinced me to start using it again a month ago. I have been suffering with a great deal of pain all over my body, my daughter insists it is becausce my muscles don't get the oxygen they need at night. I am beginning to feel a little better, but I still can only sleep about 4-6 hours without the machine waking me up because it is leaking. I can't seem to get fully awake to fix the problem, so I sleep another couple hours with out the mask. I have the nasal pillow system mask, it is wonderful and quiet until it starts leaking. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know, already that I am stupid for not trying harder before.
Thanks Diane
