what does the prefix "s" stand for in s7, s8, s9 in resmed products
So the ResMed S9, successor to the S8 flow generator, is in the works. Any idea what functionality/improvements will be included in this version of the flow generator? wonder whether they feel they will have to come out with some significant improvements to stay on par with Respironics in terms of innovation.
Ha! I WISH, Mike!! You know how I love my Resmeds! I have no idea. I'm hoping our local Resmed Reps will show up at our local support group so I can corner him and see if I can pry out any info.

I'm also hoping our local Respironics Rep show up too so I can corner him and talk to him more about that PR SystemOne "and" whether they will be coming out w/a patient version of the v.2.1 software (not that I would be satisfied w/that as I wanna see EVERYTHING that the "pros" see). I was impressed w/how quiet that SystemOne was when he had it w/him back in August or September, whenever it was. Remember I said I said w/in 2 feet of it for close to 2 hours when it was running at 15 cms and didn't believe it was running until he pulled the cap off and I could FEEL the air pressure!!! Not that I've found the pre-M Series or any of my Resmeds noisy but I could hear a quiet whisper from them. NOT that SystemOne tho!!!
thank you mollete
