How much are you waking after starting CPAP therapy.
My AHI has averaged 6.8 for the last six months as read on my auto CPAP machine. How does this compare with others who use an auto machine? Does my wife's sleep affect this? What if I kinda wake up an hour before I get up, Does this period of "dozing" effect the numbers. Does age and the associated aches and pains effect the AHI? What are your numbers? My leak seems very low, something like .25. Your comments would be appreciated.

Perry, I read you are using an S8. I was told to concentrate more on the AI than the AHI Your leak rate is good. I really can't answer your question, unfortunately, as I don't know how quality of sleep affects( aches/pains, wife's sleeping habits, etc.) our number of events during the night. I envy your numbers as I have never gotten my AHI that low on a consistant basis.
Can you tell us how your AI is running?

Thank you Mary. My AI numbers are 1.7 for last night, 1.7 for the week , 1.2 for the month and 1.8 for six months. How does this compare with others?
