Resmed S8 VPAP Auto Adjustment for Slow Respiratory Exhalation

Goshes, was going thru my last titration study trying to find a particular item and just noticed the comment "Slow exhalation speed noted". Hmmmm.

So, jnk, you ole Resmed junkie, what comfort option would apply to that? Any of them besides Exhalation?

I believe that you would adjust the Ti Max and Ti Min. These settings are the min and max for the time the machine allows you to breathe in and out. According to my RT, you would want to decrease the Ti min and max to allow for a longer exhalation cycle.
Ahhh, jnk, I hope your absence will be due to some pleasurable activity!!!! Hurry back, good friend.

Melinda, thank you as well for your advice. Our apnea support group meets in two weeks and our local Resmed Rep is usually at the meetings. She is RRT, RPSGT accredited and knows her Resmeds well, obviously.
