Type of Mattress / Bed You Use -- Do You Like It or Hate It?

As far as I can remember there hasn't been a topic on which bed users like the best.

I would like to get us a new mattress this summer as ours is getting a few years on it and although it isn't really old (about 5 or 6 years old) my side sags some.

I would really really like to try either a Sleep Number bed or a memory foam mattress.

What has been your experiences with your mattress -- do you love it -- hate it? Why?

We have a Select Comfort bed (sleep number bed) and love it we have been using one for appox 10 years. This past year due to the accident I went out and got a adjustable bed frame made by Sleep Comfort so I can adjust the head and feet up or down as needed. With the Select Comfort bed on top of it you can not ask for a better bed. (by the way the adjusted bed frame that Select Comfort has is made from the same company as the one at Sleep Comfort. But the Sleep Comfort one has some nicer features and is build stronger for less money. So our frame is from Sleep Comfort and our Mattress's are from Select Comfort. Select Comfort now has one of their models also adds a layer of memory foam.
Memory foam, that is great. It is cheeper then S. Comfort. I have a 4 inch up north in are little trailor. We stay in it 2 weeks in the spring an fall. We got to see are grandbabys!
Aren't grandbabies great!!!

I love mine!! Spoil them rotten and then send them home. :)

They were part of the motivation for me to seek treatment for my sleep apnea. I simply didn't have the energy to chase after them when my kids wanted me to babysit for them. I want to live a long time to see them (the grandkids) get married and have children (great-grandkids). :)
I have a Select Comfort/Number Bed - model 5000.

It is about 5 years old now....I loved it when I first got it...because for the first while I would sleep through the night and everything. Though after a few years I was back to getting up 3 or more times a night, etc. Of course, that was before CPAP. Now the frequency of getting up is going down....

I seem to have bad luck with the control wands though....after some point I start losing segments on it or it stops working completely. But, every time I've emailed customer support about it, they just send me another one at no change (with a prepaid return label for the bad one).

Perhaps real good, because I've had to change my pressure to reflect that the mask causes me to sleep in a different position....perhaps later I'll find that mask that lets me side sleep and/or stomach sleep again.

The Dreamer.
This is what I stay a wake for. Grandbabys.
