well here we go ... I have had 2 major sinus infections in the past 2 years lastin several months the first time and i am on my second one at this moment...I talked to my primary and she put me on Prednisone steroids ,antibiotics augmentan and a nasal sprayPerscribed  and I do double packet nasal rinses everyday 2 times daily and I am on week 4 of antibiotics for this... I asked my primary if this all could be caused from a cpap and she told me to talk to the sleep specialist.. so I called the sleep specialist and they told me to talk to my primary to get the information... If this aint passing the buck I dont know what is... some one .... anyone.... feed me info Please..... all i get is moved from chair to chair with no answers...Musical chairs anyone???

Without knowing the severity of your situation I would not want to give advice on that. Your doc would be the one to talk to as I am not an MD. Until you talk to your doc I would continue therapy as long as it is not making things worse. Good sleep will help you heal.
I am not entirely sure that sinus infection is your primary concern. The use of xPAP can cause symptoms like you mention.

I would recommend you to be examined by an ENT, who also knows about SA.
