Saginaw, Michigan Sleep Apnea Support Group Meeting This Monday, 24 May 10
Saginaw, Michigan's Covenant HealthCare Sleep Apnea Support Group's next meeting is this coming Monday, 24 May 10, from 6-8 PM at Mackinaw Campus, Mackinaw Road at Tittabawassee Road in the basement conference room.
Open to anyone interested in or needing apnea support. Light refreshments and a few doorprizes available. Usually lots of good information and usually at least the Resmed and Respironics Reps are available to talk to before and after the meeting.

is this part of the AWAKE national network or sleep apnea support groups? If not, how does it differ?

No, it has nothing to do w/A.W.A.K.E. The two "supposed" A.W.A.K.E. groups in the Saginaw and Owosso, MI area do NOT respond to e-mails nor phone calls. The one in Saginaw is/was affiliated w/an independent sleep lab and either is not active or is open only to that sleep lab's patients.
This support group is hosted by one of our local hospitals (Covenant HealthCare) and the VNA. The "hostesses" are staff from the hospital's sleep center.
