I feel like a kid in a candy shop (instead of a CPAP shop!)

I was stuck in traffic around the corner from my DME office today, and figured I'd stop in and see if I was eligible for any supplies or upgrades. My hose has been taped up for months, and I knew that I needed a new filter.

So, I stopped in, and found out that my insurance company bought out the lease on my ResMed AutoSet II, so now it's officially mine!

I also got a new hose and filter.

Then I asked when I could get a new mask, and found I was ready for an upgrade,. Which one would I like? How about one of those new Swift FX?

Yes!

Now 'm all set to try on my new stuff!

But then I read the post that talks about allergic reactions, and the response that said that we should wait a few days to "air out" and "gass off" new plastic stuff.

:(

I guess I could just try the FX for a while, right?

It's an interesting design, and I'll post a review once I've tried it...

sounds great, Andy. Keep us posted. Would love to hear your review.
Great news! I would take 99's advice and wash new stuff first. You would probably do that anyway.

Keep us posted.
