Hi!  I am Ron's wife, June.  I type faster so he lets me!  He has had many issues with masks and the only advice he can give is go back to the tech!  They know him well but thats ok because we are getting there!  They don't call and check on you so you have to call them.

As for me - I just went to the ENT doc and he suggested that I probably don't have OSA but just need a septoplasty and he has these little "Pillars" he inserts into the upper pallet that are suuposed to stop snoring.  Anyone ever heard of this?  And why would he not want me to have a sleep study? Have you had a sleep study?
no - but I plan to set up one in April. I don't want invasive surgery when I have never heard of "pillars" and I know that septoplasty is no fun as Ron had one - thought he was gonna die!
Have to be honest... I would NEVER think about having any procedure like this done without having a sleep study first. PLEASE do some more research on this procedure and talk with some folks who have had it done before you take the plunge.
Walt, I agree totally and that is why I am not going through with it. I plan to get a sleep study done and go from there. Also, has anyone ever said that a medication (namely an anti-anxiety) has made them snore? It relaxes and helps you fall asleep so it kinda makes sense.?
