Water gathering in Mask
Can someone tell me why water is gathering in my mask. I have tried to change settings. Water builds up in the tube also.

Rain out! What is your humidity level? Is your machine sitting lower than your bed? How much water are you putting in your humidifier.

I have the same problem about once every two weeks. my machine sits level with my bed but my head is probably higher than my machine all night. water levels vary when this happens so I dont believe it is due to over filling as I never fill it all the way to the marker on the water tank. I lowered my moisture level to 3 last night and woke up this morning with dry throat, tongue and nose. When I took off my mask water went everywhere because I lowered the tube below the level of the machine. I dont know what my humidity level is in our area or if this is a factor.. but I have had the machine on 2 3 and 4 when this has happend. 1 is too low and I cant cut the heat element off on my machine.

I used to have that problem too! I found that setting my number to 2-3 works well and since I sleep in a very cool room my medical supplier sold me a sort of "snuggie" for my hose/tube. A person could just as easily make one but when I first got my CPAP I was too exhausted and brain dead to deal with making my own. It's just a fuzzy fabric sleeve that slips onto the tube and insulates the hose to keep the cold air of my room from interacting with the warm air of the tube and causing condensation. Man I HATE getting swamp face,so this has been worth the $14 I paid for it!

Oh my goodness! that is it! I like my bedroom next to freezing. Last night was quite cold in my room on top of having my fan blowing directly onto the hose and at me all night. Makes perfect sense. I can make a fuzzy cover that should solve the problem as well. Thanks so much!

I had moved my machine a few months back to a higher location. I'll try moving it back lower than my bed. Thanks!!!
