Thanks for all the information and support. Since I am sleeping with my CPAP and getting improvement I have cancelled my MMA surgery. Since I have restarted with my Swift Lt I have been able to get more hours.
I want to know if this is the way that all of you have struggled.
Got CPAP in April 2009. I was very happy to get it.
Used it for 5 times and quit for 4 months. Changed three masks and quit. Tried positional therapy. got laid off in November. continued with positional therapy. Realized that positional therapy didn't work.
Scheduled MMA surgery at Stanford for late Feb.
Willing to give one last shot with a new mask- SWift LT
Finally in January got a mask that was good enough to sleep with for at least 4 hours a night.
Got rainout. Trying to work on rainout. Got an insulated cover. Waiting for Aussie heated hose.
Turn off humidifier got sore spots in nose. Turned up the heat in the room. Turned up humidifier.
Even though I have struggled I feel like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I am finally feeling better and can try to get on with my life and get back to looking for a job. Need some final encouragement.
Best regards
Ricky Li
