Why did my machine say "No Data" when other times it has given me a read out??

I have the ResMed S8 AutoSet II (with humidifier) machine. This is the 2nd time it has read "No Data" for the different categories. Also when I read this, is it for that night before or is it averaging all hours it has been used? Sorry for all the questions but I really want to understand what's going on. Thanks!

Hi Carolyn,

I have the same unit that you do. Everyone says that it resets at 12:00 noon, but mine seems to do so later in the day.

In any case, let's just say that there is some point in the day at or after noon, when the daily data will not be able to be read on the display, though it ought to be still available for the sleep technician to be read.

As j n k states, when the display data is reset, it's then rolled into the weekly data.

If you're using a data card, then you should be able to request a report that details each of your daily readings from whomever you send the data card to, usually the doctor or DME.

In my case, I have a ResTraxx, which is an additional device that transmits the data to my DME. I have requested the reports from the DME, and have had them emailed to me.
I don't recall if the ResMed unit I have has a setting for the time it dumps the data. But I do know that one day I checked before and after noon, then again after 1:00pm (thinking maybe it was a time zone thing) but the data was still there.

Whatver the exact time is, the process is as you have described...
Thanks Andy and Jeff. I think both times the "No Data" appeared it was later in the day so am not sure when it resets. I will remember to check first thing in the morning. My machine came with a data card but I really don't know what to do with it :) Can you tell I'm not the most technical person? I really need to read the booklet cover to cover and try to figure out all this stuff.
