Just wondering how to read the ahi and then the ahi average correctly.

when i wake up I want to know for that session how many issues I had so which one do i need to go by?

I am assuming the average is over the usage of the machine what it usually runs? but is the average per hour of how does that work?

becuz lik when I woke up today it said ahi 2

but then my average was 12??

and I have only slept with it for a total of I think 10-13 hours??

someone throw me a bone here!!

and does anyone have the software? and card reader is it worth the money and could someone thats not a rt be able to undertsand it?

I like to be very proactive in anything involving me so I think i want the software!!

Well will go for now

Sending good sleep and sweet dreams to all!!

Hi, I have that machine set on straight CPAP.
My results read out today: AHI 17.4, AI 7.6, HI 9.8, the user hours were 8.25 hrs. The HI and AI usually add up to the AHI.
After today I am switching to the ResMed VPAP Auto 25.

As to the data card. I have one, but understand there is no user software available for ResMed machines. My DME says I can drop the data card in the mail and he'll download the data for me, but I'm seeing the Doc every six weeks while we get the pressure right so I just let his techs download the data. I follow the AHI, AI and HI plus the hours, but personally I'm not wanting to go deeper at this point. By the way, I have a great Doc.

Good luck, keep us posted.
