very important article, Bee. Thank you for sharing it. And it couldn't have come at a better time for me... we were just at Buy Buy Baby over the weekend picking up an infant car seat in anticipation of our baby's birth. probably wouldn't have gone on any long car rides at the very beginning anyway, but who knows, with Christmas and New Year's around the corner, and family far away, maybe we would. Now I'll have to reconsider.
Awesome article Bee.
I know that sometimes parents leave a sleeping infant in the car seat because they hate to wake them up just to put them back to sleep in the crib. I know parents who put the child in the car seat and put the car seat in the crib to let them sleep.
I think I posted in another thread. Breathing problems in children can lead to irreversible cognitive damage. For some reason I could not post the study here or anywhere else. The study was based on kids with apnea. I am not as internet savvy as some of you are.

search "children and sleep" or "children and apnea".

I just found this site a couple of weeks ago.
