This PSG was done w/NicoletOne. Supposedly this is the best data printout this PSG software is able to provide. The titration was done w/o 2L of 02 supplementation. I wasn't able to reduce the wasted space between the NicoletOne printout, the dicated report, the Tech Notes and the equipment order (prescription) so you'll just have to keep scrolling until you get to the bottom.

This is the dictated report.

These are the Tech Notes

and here is the script

bravo, Judy ! that's the best way to post a picture file -- comes across very clearly, and is embedded in the response you give so that a user doesn't have to go through the extra step of downloading an attachment.
Yes, but unfortunately the original was in landscape position rather than portrait position and fitting it to this page has distorted the text and numbers so that I don't know that it is worth leaving posted and was thinking of deleting the post. Yet to reduce it in size to fit would almost certainly make the text and numbers too small to read. I'll wait to decide before posting the dictated report and the tech's notes. No sense in posting them if I decide to delete this PSG summary report.

What do you think of this scored data summary report vs the full scored data summary report w/condensed graphs we are used to seeing from some of the other PSG software such as Alice? I haven't seen a Sandman full scored data summary report. I'd really like to see full scored data summary reports w/condensed graphs from some of the other PSG software such as Sandman, etc. That was why I wanted to post this NicoletOne PSG report. What's another PSG software? CompuMedics??
I can see all the text and figures very well, at least what you posted so far. I'm not sure how much you had to cut off. I'm afraid I have to defer to a sleep tech or some other pro to compare this PSG software vs. other PSG Software such as Alice.

Judy, the figures look very clear to me on my monitor. I can read easily even without my old-lady glasses on. :>D
It is clear and the numbers are easily read for me as well.
Okey dokey then. This posting stays w/the addition of the Tech's Notes and dictated results. I don't know. Should I add the script as well and then be done w/it until/unless I can come up w/an Alice PSG?
Sounds like a plan. I know Rock was pretty busy this week at work, but will probably have some time to give us the benefit of his thoughts over the weekend.

Yep I can read it too. I look it over in the next couple of days. i'll have to study it as I have never interpreted a nicoletone report before. never actually seen a nicolet report before.
I am pretty partial to the Sandman software myself. i have never worked with Alice, but my supervisor thinks it's cheap.

Judy I have been re-reading all of your post regarding you PAP journey. I understand your anger. I can FEEL it! LOL. You have to look back on it and think of the education you got from all of your sleep study experiences. This is the reason I don't like to see the "how to self titrate post". The knowledge and pride of finally conquering your treatment the way that you have Judy is inspiring. how many people can say they had a sleep study at the Mayo clinic let alone that they got into pissing match with one of their doctors.

You even talk about coming to Indy to get yet another sleep study that you could very well do yourself. your a sleep groupy!lol
Oh, I don't know about being a "sleep groupie", Rock Hinkle. BUT - yeah, whenever my sleep doctor next decides I should have a new PSG I won't argue about having one - just about WHERE I have it done.

Hey!!!! Now that you have me thinking along the lines of being a "sleep groupie" I WOULD probably volunteer for multiple PSGs IF - and mind you, the IF - each time I had one it could be on different PSG software. I was interested in coming to Indy 'cause on accountta I like your attitude AND you guys use Sandman. (Heaven forbid I should leave the impression you are the only reason! *wicked grin*)

And, Rock Hinkle, I really didn't get in to a pissing match w/the Mayo sleep doc. I just wrote him off as a condescending, control freak and tuned him out fairly early in our appointment as a close-minded, condescending bore. Well, actually I didn't come up w/the control freak opinion until AFTER the PSG and the report and his attempts to ensure that I didn't get access to information all of which didn't become clear until months after the fact.
So Rock, I think Judy should have the title of: Offical Sleep Advocate. What do you think?
