provigil. How is your therapy going Chris?
Other than caffeine I stay away. But my sleep doc did have me on Provigil for a while. They usually use it to keep narcoleptics up. During the day I had energy and it did seem helpful, but it wouldn't wear off and I couldn't sleep at night. It got really annoying after a few days so I stopped. I told me primary care physician about that and he said "well, it IS basically speed". After discussing it with my sleep doc, I tossed the rest down the toilet. I found out later I could have gotten temporarily rich by selling the rest to truck drivers! :D
Hi Chris, Even though I was sleeping better with my CPAP I was still foggy during the day. My doctor put me on Provigil. This medication has really helped. It is not like an upper. You don't get the same feeling as being on an amphetamine type drug. You do not get shaky. It basically clears the fog in your brain and you are able to think clearly, remember things and stay awake. I take it in the morning and have no trouble getting to sleep at night. It is also used for Narcolepsy. This medication has given me a new life!
If you are on CPAP you should not take any pills or (ENERGY) Drinks. If your on a AUTO CPAP thats the problem. Are YOU?
