I have used the CPAP, LT Swift LT since April 3. So I am a newbie. This seems like such a small problem but is is very annoying and thought someone might have an answer for me.

Air blows out in a pretty strong stream out of the front of my mask. I think this is normal, (not sure?) but it is pretty forceful so it is loud and cold and if I try to cover my arms with a blanket it re-directs the air into my face. I try to get comfortable but I do get frustrated and just take off the mask, because I am tired and I just want to sleep. I know the importance of using my CPAP every night so I want to break this cycle. Thanks in advance for your help.

It depends on the mask just where the vent holes are placed. If they are on the hose swivel it is a simple enough matter to swing the hose in another direction. Hang it above your head or tuck the hose under your blankets and clip the hose to your PJ top.

The "vented air" has nothing to do w/A- or C-Flex. It is the built-in vent for our exhaled air so that we are not re-breathing our used C02 heavy air. Every mask has a built-in allowed vent rate based on the xPAP pressure setting.
Thanks! I never thought to try putting the hose in a different position, I think it does swivel around. I will try it tonight! You guys are so helpful, I do appreciate it.

Hey, there's a lot to absorb in a short time w/these xPAPs and masks!! Can't expect us to remember and/or figure out everything overnight!
