I read about this and found it very interesting. Sure would be nice if it worked. Do you know where it's available?
i saw an ENT, dr. lloyd dropkin, and he suggested i try it without knowing if it worked or where to get it.
Hi Eric, A friend of mine (a Doctor) tried this and he said it holds your tongue but if you bite down .....ouch and it dries out . Not a great solution. Good Sleep,Chris
My Sleep Doctor said to try it. My dentist said they don't work. SInce they are not real chap and had already spent more than $500 on oral device I nixed it. The thought of something holding my tongue makes me gag just thinking about it. Although the chin strap is really causing pain in my neck every day. I hope before I die there is a better solution to some of these problems.

I don't think I would tolerate it as I can see it driving me crazy not being able to move my tongue. For some patients, it might work but like all things check out the creditionals of the person you are dealing with to make sure you are dealing with someone that knows what they are doing.
There is a thread at cpaptalk.com about this device. At this time it apparently awaiting FDA approval.
Hi carol...First thing I have seen that gives me some hope that there might be something other than CPAP in the future. Very interesting! Thanks. I signed up for emails from them.
