My face is covered in zits on the parts that are in contact with my chin strap. how often should i wash this thing?  It's so easy to forget about keeping it clean.  Anyone else have this problem?

Which chin strap are you using?

Respironics Premium Chinstrap i believe is what it's called.

Buy some light-weight fleece (a remnant will do) and slip it under the cheek straps. If it doesn't stay in place, wrap it around the cheek strap and secure it with a few stitches (not through the chin strap). If you don't sew at all, very light-weight adhesive-backed Velcro works, but it, too, benefits from a couple of stitches at each end. Better yet, buy the Ultimate Chin Strap. It's the only chin strap out of over a dozen I tried that works for me. I ordered a custom size because I have a very small head, and it works wonderfully for me.

How long does the strap take to dry?  I'm sure you want to line dry it rather than the dryer.  You might need another one- wash one and while it dries wear the other  one.  I'm not sue how often to wash it- often till your face clears up.  Or the fleece between the strap and your skin sounds good.  You could rinse that daily.
