I "accidently" discovered by DME provider had not set my machine right.  Several months ago they "gave" me the 15 performance tubing instead of the 22.  I like the new tubing better. But they never changed the setting on the machine.  I changed it myself last night (figured out how to get in to the clinician's settings) My AHI 7 day average was a little higher this morning.(2.7)  ANyway,my question is... was this causing any harm to my Remstar System one machine or suboptimal treatment to me  or what?  DO I let my Sleep doctor know or does it not matter. I have had so many bad experiences with this local company but I think it is difficult to change midstream until the machine is owned by me.  Will be a year March 17th.

Although it is a setting in the clinical menu of most machines, tubing size will not have a significant impact on efficacy of therapy. Still, it's good to get the setting right. No need to alert anyone to the change.  Good luck!

Thank you Doug.  CPAP.Com confirmed what you just posted.
