CPAP Machine Salvageable After Contaminated with Soot from Fire?

My cpap machine has been exposed to soot and debris after a small fire. Is there any possibility it might be and decontaminated and restored (or reconditioned) for use?

The best thing to do would be to contact your DME and see if they will send it back to the manufacturer for you.  If the DME won't you can contact the manufacturer directly.

The maufacturer is the best bet to evaluate and recondition the unit, if it is possible.
