went for my 1st sleep specilaist appointment today since i started cpap and was told i had one apnea episode since i started cpap, also i had lost 10 lbs, blood pressure down to 105/56 . i also talkedto my tech about leaks, she found the cause which was the strap that goes over the foreheadwas way off on the adjustments so she showed me how to readjust that . i was on the cpap for a average of 5 hours a night so i was in compliance with my insurance company. they also lowered the air pressure 2 points per doctors orders. they also found i needed a new seal on my mask, so she replaced the seal on the mask , knew something was off on the mask.

just wanted to let everyone know how well the doctors visit went today. i was certainly pleased with the visit .

Hi Ernestine, Good to hear your getting fixed up well. One apnea ? Have you learned to check your numbers? Good Sleep,Chris
no i have not quite got that down yet , don't think the techs want me to mess with the cpap machine very much.
