I find with certain pillows (head pillow, not nasal) mine leaks more.  Some nights does fine and some like last night I was up 5 times in an hour before I could stop the leak in to my eyes. I wish I had a better answer.  Tried Remzzz's and made it worse.  They do feel comfortable, though.
Getting the mask to fit and not leak is probably the hardest part of using the machine.  Make sure you are not wearing it too tight.  I'm not sure what you mean by "head pillow", but sometimes they just take working with and experimenting.  You may not have the mask that's right for you, yet.  Some of us have tried many different masks before they found the one that worked .  You can try Remzzz's, some of have used Macks silicone ear plugs to seal certain areas.  You take the ear plug and roll it into a piece about the size of a pencil and then use it around the whole mask perimeter, or just in the place that's leaking.  Pad-a-Cheek makes liners, and there are some called quietus liners.  As I said, I'm not sure what you mean by head pillows so I don't know if this advice will help.  Just don't give up.
I was talking about the pillow I sleep on~LOL~not nasal pillows for CPAP!  Some pillows are so firm they make the mask move out of place when side lying.

Ginny, Hi you are using CPAP and sleeping on your side and your pillow enable you to sleep without impacting your mask? You are not using a Full Face mask are you?

I use a CPAP pillow and it helps, but far from perfect. Leaking is probably the most difficult thing to deal with. I have also found that older mask cushions, even cleaned still leak. I have found that about 4-6 weeks is the max I can get out of them. Wish you the best!
So perhaps my Quattro FX full face mask won't even last 3 months.  Jeez~they cost about $50 a pop too.  I did just buy an extra off of Ebay.  Maybe I better buy more! Mine is only about 2 weeks old.

Ginny I am far from an expert on this as I've only been on CPAP for 7 months. A short time ago I found a discussion Rocky had started titled 'How To Properly Fit a Mask. From a Techs Point of View'. If you go to the discussion tab and type that in the search it'll take you to his tips. I found it so helpful, as my mask was not fitting correctly. It's still a work in progress. I try to have two mask cushions to switch off with so one is always clean and dry. Had a defective one and then didn't get called from my DME, so I bought one off ebay as well.

If I could I would design a different pillow. I have the one that's advertised on this site, bought it at JCPenney.com. It doesn't have enough neck support, but I do like the cutouts for side sleeping.

Seems like I have a "handicap".  Feel the need to be looking in the mirror while donning my "gear".  Same as when putting on my contacts.  Have friends that can just put them "in" without looking; not me, I have to look in the mirror for that too. Last night did not notice leaks: I am hoping because I used the CPAP contour pillow.  My hose lift came today.  Thinking that will help keep the hose from pulling as much on the mask & I expect my Quietus liners tomorrow ~worth a try~Going to see if another mask is on Ebay!

Ginny, what are Quietus liners?
Louise, I have never seen one.  Found the web site "Quitetusliners.com and thought they might help.  I had tried Remzzz's liners and did not like them so I thought I would give these a try.  They have already been mailed & hope they arrive tomorrow.  SUpposedly they can be used 3-7 times and then hand washed and air dried for reuse so the cost would come down.  10 for $20 and something (this includes shipping) They can have (if you want) a "tacking" agent on the back so they adhere to the mask when applying.  Go to the website and check them out.  The man who developed them is a CPAP uses and came up with the idea due to his personal "trials" with CPAP.  Hope this helps.
Wow, I have been looking for something like this. Very sensitive skin, so I have mask marks all day and sore spots on my face. No matter how much I losen up mask I sometimes crash with mask in sheet or pillow and end up with marks. I will wait to hear how you like them! This is an expensive problem!!
